Dr. Devesh Bathla is a Professor of Business Analytics and Data Science at Chitkara University, Punjab, India. He is an Industry practitioner with vast experience in field of Data Analytics and contributes largely to corporate consulting, besides frequently conducting corporate training modules internationally. He holds a PhD degree in Management, an MBA, and is an Engineering graduate. His areas of expertise are Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, HealthCare Analytics, Human Resource Analytics, and other Data Science related subjects. He has versatile teaching, corporate training, and industry experience.
His academic contributions include seven patents , that have already been filed by him and he encourages his mentees to contribute in the domain of invention. Devesh has authored two books ‘Growth, Potential and Future Prospects of M-Commerce in India’ and ‘Mobile phone- A fashion statement’ with an International Publishing House based at Germany. He regularly writes for Business magazines in the field of Analytics.
Devesh’s research publications have been printed by reputable international and national journals. He has also presented research papers in several international and national conferences, and has been presented with Best Paper Award in certain conferences.
